Göztepe Urban Renewal — 4 Blocks
Nine high-risk 1970s buildings replaced by 412 units over four blocks, with covered parking and shared amenities.
A joint renewal project carried out with the owners of nine adjoining buildings in Göztepe. The flat-for-land agreement is tracked through monthly owner briefings and the site diary on this page from demolition to handover.
The structure was designed to current seismic code on the basis of a geotechnical survey and performance analysis. The four blocks share a single basement car park; the ground level is entirely pedestrian and green.

Block C 11th-floor slab poured
The last typical slab on Block C was poured with 186 m³ of C35 concrete and covered for curing. Roof wall formwork starts on Monday.

Scaffolding now wraps all four sides of Block B and insulation boards are going up. A sample façade panel was presented to owners at the monthly meeting.

Wall rebar and cover on the 8th floor of Block D were inspected with the building control firm; the report was signed and pouring approved.

Installation of potable and waste water risers began on Block A. The first three floors are ready for pressure testing.

Pours moved to 05:00 and the batching plant is using chilled water. Slabs are water-cured for seven days after each pour.

42 owners toured Blocks A and B after a safety briefing; the sample flat’s rough dimensions were shown on site.
